Polling interest in the Botania 10th anniversary CD project

Some of you might have heard that we're considering making a commemorative CD to celebrate Botania's 10th anniversary, which is coming up early next year (around February). It will be a single run, and we're not going to make more after we sell out.

Depending on how good we are with completing the outstanding work necessary, this project is mostly a real thing (tm). But we need to gauge interest to know how many CD's to order from the vendor. The plan is for it to be a nice printed CD in a jewel case complete with front and back covers (but no slip book), doujin style.

Partonetrain CDs are plastic discs that can hold up to around 800 megabytes. This is about shipping physical objects.

Yup, standard CD size, which is 700 MB. You can "overburn" to 800-850 MB, but it's not generally considered safe and some standards-complaint equipment might not be able to read it.

For reference, all the JARs together are 361M, so we have about 339M of room left for anything else we want to include.

That'd be a neat piece to keep in my collection. What would be on the CD itself? The mod, I figure, but it sounds like you could use some music.

Here's what the CD is planned to include:

The latest Botania JAR for each major Minecraft version from 1.6.4 up to the current day

The current lexica botania and changelog webpages, with touchups

Bonus content such as the omake doc

A history of the mod and blurbs/retrospective thoughts/interviews from the developers and artists

Any fanworks people would like to contribute to the project (on a first come first serve basis due to space constraints)

(if room) Current source code of the repository, without history

woops, looked at the wrong number. The jars are all 189M, leaving 511M of room. So it's a pretty comfortable buffer for any fanworks people want to submit (besides super high quality video)
