but ok as for the actual thread topic, i've been playing unturned of all things
the new curated (community-created but promoted by the official dev) map, buak, has been really good so far! the creator describes it as a mishmash of concepts from unturned 2.0, 3.0, and II, which is apt. my exploration has been relatively surface-level so far, but everything i've seen of the map's story (mainly a quick dip into the deadzone and the surprise cutscene in the middle of the first love questline) has been stunning. overall i think the map does an excellent job putting together concepts and features that past maps (particularly russia and elver) faltered on
also if you end up playing through the map yourself, check out the advanced difficulty settings for singleplayer - lots of good stuff there, it has a pretty solid inventory loss on death config that gives you a lot more granularity than something like minecraft's keepInventory
gamerule. the SDG wiki has some more detailed info on that
