Any experience with Random PSIdeas?

In particular, the Psionic modifier that can be put on Tinkers Construct weapons and tools. It works great on a sword. However, I'm having difficulty getting it working on a Tinkers arrow/ bow (I've tried both). Also, any idea on how the bow from Psionic Peripherals works?

I know these are addons and not PSI directly, but I'm not sure where else to look for help.

I don't know too much about the first issue, but for the bow you use the Selector: Attack Target to return the entity of which it hits, then connect that to a position sourcer hooked up to an explosion, and now you have explosive arrows.
