So, whatever happened to the Botania retexture?

Over $4,000 was spent on a gofundme by people for this full mod retexture link found here, but it never got fully finished? Like, over half the blocks & items still use the 1.12 era textures. Was it just forgotten about?

Hi!

Me and Falkory are still working on the retexture on and off. We've both been struggling with burnout, but have been gradually making textures over the last couple years. The goal is definitely to still finish all the textures, it's just hard with everything else also going on in our lives. Personally, i just started a master's degree while i'm also getting used to life with a new chronic illness.

One regret i have is that the commission was made quite informally, with no contract or time limit given, which has somewhat lightened the feeling of obligation/urgency. For me, it was also the first time taking a commission, and i had no experience with how to take on such a big project .

So, in short, it's getting worked on still, and will be finished one day, i promise you that! Thanks for the patience in the meantime.

I think there's also been new textures with every major release of botania lately. There's quite a few lined up (and even more planned) for the long-anticipated 1.21.1 release.
