Just wondering, but would you be against someone else picking up the port?

(Not going to do it for myself, just wondering if there's chance for someone else to take it with your blessing)

At the moment, Hytale lacks basic automation infrastructure. Unlike many other tech mods, Botania relies a lot on vanilla automation features and avoids UIs as much as possible. Whoever wants to attempt to pick up that porting effort will have to figure out a lot of things, including new looks for everything, because Botania's Minecraft look would not fit.

On a personal, creative level, I would be against a straight port. I don't own the game but from what I've seen it's quite different from Minecraft and anything less than a very loose adaptation, or original concept "inspired by" Botania, wouldn't make much sense. I think it might be fun to adapt just certain weapons from Botania (and/or my mod BotaniaCombat) if I were to ever get in to Hytale modding.
