After a very long wait, we finally have a testable version of Quark and Zeta for 1.21.1!
Now, I do have to specify, this is for TESTING PURPOSES. NONE OF US RECOMMEND USING THIS ON A WORLD YOU ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT. THIS WILL BREAK EXISTING WORLDS. Exposed wires aren't the best to use near flammables after all.

Now, to imitate how the boss did things:
Late, again?
Yeah, it turns out that it was a quite difficult port, we have had a lot of issues between 1.21.1, changing to Neoforge, and other random issues. Add on the fact that a lot of us have been busy for quite a while, and it's been a difficult ride.
I would like to really thank PartoneTrain and BrokenKeyboard for their immense help on this. They were really helpful, and I'd say helped keep pushing the project forward when others really were losing steam.
Another massive shoutout to, of all places, r/FeedTheMemes. Mainly because there was a post that made me feel bad and gave me the motivation to work on Quark some more.
Whats the big changes
The Obvious
- 1.21.1, duh.
- Using Neoforge now over Forge.
Removals
- All the overlapping Tuff block stuff
- Enchantment Predicates, possibly the most unused Quark feature and also is replaced in 1.21.4(?) anyways.
- Some other experimental changes were taken out
Changes
- Elytras are boosted by Campfires that are under Iron Grates
- Crouching takes the chicken off your head
- You can now spawn infinite Slime from buckets in creative
The caveats of this build
Obviously, this is a ALPHA RELEASE that is VERY UNFINISHED!!!
There are plenty of bugs that still need to get ironed out.
Known bugs
- Various recipes are missing and yelling in logs
- Backpacks have weird behavior when dropped
- A whole lot more as well.
Unstable things to mention
- Crates and Magnets are pretty unstable most likely.
Things that still need to be done
- Armor for the various dog variants
- Additional LGBT-Bees
- Plenty of other stuff
