Assuming it's not difficult to code, I would suggest integrating rods into the functionality of the worldshaper's sextant. I think you should be able to use a sneak right click with something like the Rod of the Lands to instantly fill in the stencil. Just a minor quality of life upgrade that lets another set of items work together.
