1.21.1 and 1.21.6

Hi, since 1.21.6 would correspond to 1.22 in terms of release timing (coming out before summer), are you planning to release Quark for 1.21.1, jump straight to 1.21.6, or both? I imagine that, since there haven't been too many changes between 1.21.1 and 1.21.6, the port between the two shouldn't be as complicated as it was from 1.20, but I don't know much about programming.

My understanding (having not modded in a couple years) is that Mojang loves making extensive internal changes in minor versions now, so even though not much has changed on the player facing side there could still be extensive internal changes to handle between 21.1 and 21.6

Correct. Any non-hotfix release since around 1.19 is essentially what a major release would have been in the past. Don't let the version numbers fool you, Mojang is releasing major changes at a much higher rate these days.

The goal for Quark right now is to get a stable release out for 1.21.1. We'll see where the modding ecosystem goes after that.
