Quark adds a few very nice automation features that seem to have a lot of potential. Chutes, chains, the feeding trough, dispenser block placement, the iron rod, metal buttons, pistons moving tile entities, piston block push buff, magnets, copper pipes, and crates.
They're all quite helpful and I wanna see what y'all have made with the addition of them.

My favorite parts are definitely dispenser block placing and the iron rod. Especially with the latter you can make insanely efficient cobblestone generators that make Create's drill look silly weak. (Picture one half of ilmango's 120k/h cobblestone generator, but with a wall of pistons and iron rods instead of the TNT dispenser/duper.)
Block placing is particularly fun in block processing contraptions, such as a concrete converter or Botania's Orechid. You can place the block and immediately push it with a piston much more reliably at higher rates than with the Rannuncarpus flower. And again an iron rod piston helps breaking the conversion result, if a weight lens mana spreader won't do it (e.g. for ancient debris generated from netherrack or if the contraption runs in a lazy chunk for some reason).

As far as movable block entities is concerned, there's so much you can do with that. Since Carpet Mod also includes that kind of feature for the Fabric world, there's an entire technical Minecraft Discord server about that type of feature. IIRC ilmango also explored the world of (Carped-enabled) movable block entities in a series of videos.
