The Beegonia [generating flower]
Recipe: rune of wrath, 3 yellow petals, 2 black petals, 1 pixie dust
Max capacity: 40000 mana
How it works: Every 5 seconds, the beegonia checks a 3x3x3 area centered on itself for a bee. The closest bee to the beegonia is eated with a popping sound and a burst of honey particles, producing mana. It can also eat certain honey-related blocks. The amount of mana produced is based on four factors:
- Flower State. Each time a bee is consumed, the flower changes its state to one of four flower states, randomly chosen: unpollinated stingered (emits 3 comparator power) pollinated stingered (emits 6 comparator power) unpollinated unstingered (emits 9 comparator power) and pollinated unstingered (emits 12 comparator power). When a bee is eated, the amount of mana generated depends on whether the bee matched the conditions. If the bee did not have the proper pollination state, then 0 mana is generated. If the bee had the proper pollination state but not the proper stinger state, half as much mana as normal is generated.
- Bee State. When the bee is consumed, two (sometimes three) factors are taken into account to determine how much mana the bee makes. First, if the bee is a baby, 1/4 as much mana is generated as normal, to encourage letting bees become adults before ripping them from the material world and converting them into magical fluid. Second, if the bee has no stinger, 1500 mana is generated, whereas if the bee is stingered, 0 mana is generated. However, for stingered bees, every second towards the "die 45 seconds after stinger is lost" makes the bee worth 150 more mana, up to 6600 mana.
- Honey Bonus. If the flower has been given a honey block or honeycomb block in the past five minutes to eat, the mana produced will be multiplied by 1.15x. This stacks for both blocks, so up to 1.3225x as much mana.
- Protection Factor. The beegonia will not consume named bees, and Quark pride bees are always given lowest priority in eating no matter how close to the center of the flower.
The (idk good name) [functional flower]
Recipe: All four seasonal runes, 4 lime petals, 1 gaia spirit
How it works: The IGN will consume a massive amount of mana (0.2/sec/block) to change the biome (not just the grass/leaves color, but the spawning properties and all other features that are biome related) in a radius (up to 128 blocks wide). I'm not sure how the biome would be chosen, perhaps by placing certain blocks around the IGN, but this would serve as a useful end-game mana draw.
