Function: when provided a redstone signal the flower will force any undead mobs (that can hold vanilla based tools) in its radius (7x7x7?) to right click once per pulse with its equipped tool. this consumes mana and damages the tool by the equivalent using it would (perhaps manasteel tools simply drain an additional mana cost?)
Specifics: I've defined tools by the listed items on the minecraft.wiki page, that being: pickaxes, axes, shovels, hoes, flint and steel, fishing rod, carrot on a stick, warped fungus on a stick, shears and the brush. the only excluded item is the elytra as it does not fit with the functionality this flower would provide. The flower would also be crafted with a redstone root (since it is signal dependant), a t3 rune (perhaps pride?) and some mix of petals (i think a mix of black, purple and pink might be nice)
Usage:
Vanilla Behavior:
Axes: can strip logs, wood and bamboo blocks (only way of automating the creation of these blocks without player interactions i believe?). They are also can remove oxidization and wax from copper blocks (mostly useless)
Shovels: can extinguish campfires and make dirt path blocks (useless)
Hoes: can turn rooted dirt and coarse dirt into dirt blocks (made redundant by rod of the lands unfortunately) and also till dirt (useless i believe?)
Flint and Steel: can start fires (overshadowed by kindle lens unfortunately)
Fishing Rod: Can fish (The basis for the idea of this flower. Technically does not automate any single process that was not achievable by vanilla + botania, however, the fishing has a fairly large range of still interesting items and is completely untouched by botania. Has some mana generation options like feeding gourmaryllis fish or feeding the rosa arcana books + rods + bows. Also fairly balanced by needing a sculk sensor to automate treasure fishing)
Shears: can shear several mobs for drops (mooshrooms, bogged, sheep and snow golems). can shear beehives for combs and pumpkins to turn into carved pumpkins (dispensers actually cant shear pumpkins so this would be the only way to automate them without player interactions) and also stop growth on several plants (useless)
Brush: can brush suspicious blocks several times to unveil them and also brush armadillos for their scutes
Non-Vanilla Suggestions:
Gravel -> Flint conversion. could be done by either the pickaxe, shovel or brush. The brush seems the most thematically fitting, however the pickaxe has no right click usage at all.
Carrot on a stick: lures all pigs in a area when used like holding the rod passively as a player does.
Warped fungus on a stick: scares away hoglins and attracts striders like the carrot on a stick + in world warped fungus.
Pickaxe related functions: could break down certain blocks like bricks into bricks (truly awful naming scheme mojang). Could also potentially crack bricks instead of needing to smelt them? seems mostly useless.
really silly brush suggestion: could be used on pandas to force them to sneeze for slimeballs. yes i am suggesting panda warcrimes.
I cant really think of any other tool uses atm, but honestly their could be a lot of niche functions added to this flower. i will be the first to admit this is not really the most game changing flower, but i think the initial premise is at least somewhat creative, and intuitive with vanilla mechanics. it also allows for full automation of some blocks which is pretty neat i think :3
random tool suggestions:
elementium shears (they stop random ticks on any growing plant they are used on when right clicked, pls pls pls)
terra truncator: allow the elementium axe to be combined, granting the bonus heads and allow the log vein mining to be toggled on/off like the terra shatterer is (seriously, id rather use the elementium axe over it 99% time due to not accidentally breaking half of my house due to not paying attention)
new item suggestion, terra shovel: can be combined with the elementium shovel, keeping its block breaking effect and has a new utility: can place soft blocks up to where you right click, filling in air and liquid blocks (useful for draining lava lakes and building guardian farms) also can have its functions toggled off like the terra shatterer.
