Uses for Netherite

Currently, Netherite is in a bit of a weird place in botania. Terrasteel armor and tools are better than netherite in almost every situation I can think of. Diamond tools and armor are also behind terrasteel but it's okay because diamonds are used to make terrasteel so you still have a use for them (among the many other things you can use diamonds for in botania). But netherite is left pretty much pointless. I have some ideas for how it could be used:

Terrasteel armor/tools can be upgraded with netherite somehow
Use netherite instead of mana diamond in some post-Gaia recipes
Gaia Spirit Netherite Alloy Ingot (if you use it on a beacon, gaia guardian III is summoned and starts tweaking.)
idk maybe add a third tier to the bands of mana and aura crafted w netherite

Terrasteel armor/tools can be upgraded with netherite somehow

Terrasteel equipment is already strictly better than netherite, having the same effectiveness/protection at higher durability and including the fire-proof aspect. If anything, netherite would be a requirement for the terrasteel upgrade. That would make sense because terrasteel itself doesn't appear to be fire-proof.

Maybe the knockback resistance + fireproof quality could be gated behind smithing with netherite?
