Modpack Crashing - Believed to be Caused by Quark

Recently, I decided to start playing RLCraft (via CurseForge). however, I wanted to add Tinkers Construct (and some TiC addons).

whenever I press "play", the game goes to boot, it's alright for the first forge phase (constructing mods), but during the second one (initialising mods - phase 1), it stops aat Quark and crashes back to the launcher.

the following error is displayed:
"The game crashed whilst there was a severe problem during mod loading that has caused the game to fail
Error: net.minecraftforge.fml.common.LoaderExceptionModCrash: Caught exception from Quark (quark)
exit code: -1"

I'd start by disabling the chicken shedding quark module, since that's mentioned in the very first line:

Caused by: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: vazkii/quark/tweaks/feature/ChickensShedFeathers

Then go from there?

adarsh I know, that's what I wanted to do. however I cannot acces the in-game config because it's crashing before I can disable it. I went into the config file and switched the "true" to "false" but that didn't fix the issue, and it's still crashing because of "chickensshedfeathers"

It sounds a bit like one of your other mods still comes with old Quark support logic, attempting to access Java classes that are no longer where it expects them to be. The mod in question likely is Ice and Fire.

Wormbo I've disabled Ice and Fire but it still crashed in the same exact place, still on Quark
