Flower name origins/references

Another one from the depths of Discord, which might be useful when creating new translations. Botania's flowers all have rather interesting names, the origins and references of which appear to not be documented. Here's what is assumed so far:

Agricarnation (grows crops): agriculture + carnation
Bellethorne (kills mobs): current ideas go towards hawthorn or belladonna, maybe that exact combination?
Bergamute (muffles sounds): Bergamot (as in Monarda) + muting
Bubbell (creates air pocket underwater): bubble + Bluebells
Clayconia (turns sand blocks into clay balls): clay + Heliconia
Daffomill (pushes items): Daffodil + windmill (more like a fan, but whatever)
Dandelifeon (plays the game of life for mana): Dandelion + Conway's Game of Life
Daybloom (generated mana during the day, now decorative): direct Terraria reference
Dreadthorne (kills adult animals): ???
Endoflame (burns fuel for mana): endothermic, flame (no flower references?)
Entropinnyum (consumes TNT explosions for mana): entropy (which in Botania likes to associate with explosions), not sure about flower references
Exoflame (runs furnaces with mana): exothermic, flame (no flower reference?)
Fallen Kanade (applies regeneration): maybe fallen angel/Tachibana Kanade? (I'm so very much not an anime expert)
Gourmaryllis (eats food for mana): gourmet + Amaryllis
Heisei Dream (makes mobs fight each other): the Heisei era ("heisei" roughly means "become peace"; I see what you did there!)
Hopperhock (picks up items to put away): hopper + Hollyhock
Hyacidus (poisons mobs): Hyacinthus + acid?
Hydroangeas (drinks water for mana): hydro (water) + Hydrangeas
Jaded Amaranthus (makes mystical flowers): Amaranthus (not sure about "jaded")
Jiyuulia (keeps mobs away from itself): "jiyuu" (Japanese: freedom/liberty) + maybe Phacelia?
Kekimurus (eats cake for mana): cake/kek?
Labellia (applies name tag to items/mobs): label + Lobelia
Loonium (spawns mobs for dungeon loot): loot + maybe Geranium?
Manastar (indicates net mana flow): could be a reference to Borage (aka. Starflower) based on the shape, maybe also to the Mana Crystal item from Terraria, which is a star of the same color
Marimorphosis (converts stone to decorative types): Marigold (probably Tagetes?) + metamorphosis (the produced stone types were called "metamorphic stone" for a long time)
Medumone (slows mobs to a halt): likely "medu" (from Portugese "medo" = fear; apparently it petrifies those mobs) + Anemone
Munchdew (eats leaf blocks for mana): munching + Sundew
Narslimmus (eats slime mobs for mana): Narcissus + slime
Nightshade (generated mana during night, now decorative): Nightshade (the name just works)
Orechid (turns stones into ores): ore + Orchid
Orechid Ignem (turns netherrack into nether ores): "ignem" (Latin, from "ignis", related to fire)
Pollidisiac (feeds animals to make them breed): pollinate + aphrodisiac
Pure Daisy (purifies materials): (Common) Daisy
Rafflowsia (eats special flowers for mana): Rafflesia + flower
Rannuncarpus (grabs items to place them as blocks): Ranunculus + carpus (= wrist)
Rosa Arcana (consumes XP for mana): arcane (Latin: arcana) + Rose (genus name: Rosa)
Shulk Me Not (eats shulker and its target mob for mana): Shulker + Forget-me-not
Solegnolia (disables magnet ring): Solenoid (a type of electromagnet) + Magnolia
Spectranthemum (teleports items): spectral + Crysanthemum
Spectrolus (consumes wool colors for mana): (color) spectrum + Gladiolus
Tangleberrie (keeps mobs close to itself): (en)tangle + some kind of berry?
Thermalily (drinks lava for mana): thermal (heat) + Lily
Tigerseye (prevents creepers from exploding): feline reference, because creepers are scared of cats; also maybe the Abutilon/flowering maple "Tiger Eye"
Vinculotus (sets enderman teleportation target to itself): Latin "vinculum" (bond/link) + Lotus

Corrections and suggestions for filling the gaps are welcome. (These will eventually make it into the corresponding section of the omake file.)

Early flowers didn't all have name references, namely Bellethorne, Dreadthorne, Endoflame, Exoflame, Manastar don't.

Fallen Kanade is correct
Jaded Amaranthus comes from Jadedcat, the designer for that flower, back when having a flower added of your choice was a patreon reward
"Keki" is the japanese word for cake, it is not related to kek
Medumone is based on Medusa
Tangleberrie was just a fancy way to spell it, any -berry suffixed plant will serve
Entropinnyum definitely had a flower name attached to it but I can't seem to find it now
Tiger's Eye is also a type of gem, where the original texture was based of, I'm not sure if this remains accurate to this day

Also out of curiosity, Bubbell was designed by Finvarra, and the one rod that lets you pick up blocks and yeet them whose name escapes me was designed by Flaxbeard (of steam mod fame), who we used to affectionately nickname "kek" due to him using it very regularly, hence why he has the Kekimurus in the contributors file.

I think Chat-GPT might help out:

To summarize the points from Discord: "Entropinnyum" is spelled with a "y" at a peculiar position, which may or may not be relevant. Also ChatGPT seems to have completely ignored the double-n in its suggestions, and it appears to assume that the second part of the reference would be an IRL-inspired fictional flower, when it's probably a real flower. You may need to tighten the constraints there a bit.
Having an AI try to figure it out is a good idea, though.

Chamaenerion angustifolium is also known as fireweed, or bombweed in the UK, as it could quickly colonise and grow on waste ground like bomb sites during WW2. Its shape matches that of the Entropinnyum, with its four large petals and four narrower sepals.

Also the whole bombweed thing matches up nicely with how the Entro works.

is Jiyuulia a combination of jiyuu (freedom in japanese) and julia? The flavor text is also an attack on titan reference (Flügel der Freiheit, meaning wings of freedom, jiyuu no tsubasa in japanese), which i feel further confirms it
