Beta 10 for Musketeer is now available for supporters. This version takes care of fully integrating the Variant Selector as well as other bits of polish around the place.
I ended up dropping the idea of having lodestones in villages for now due to the sheer amount of variants I'd have to worry about. If anyone's got several hours on their hands for meanial work and wants to do that as a data pack do let me know lmao
Aside from that I believe this version is a good candidate for what I'd like a 1.0 to look like, at least pending additional feedback, so please do give it a whirl and tell me what you think.
Changelog:
- Added ITLT and a modpack icon
- Added Lychee and renewable sand/gravel methods with it
- Batched "unique" items in their own slot in Variant Selector (Fence Gate, Carpet, more later)
- Open to suggestions but I don't think there's anything left that can reasonably fit that slot
- Remember: Variants change the shape only, not the texture
- Brought back lingering potions and tipped arrows with an alternate recipe
- Changed recipes for all items that use variant blocks to new ones that don't
- Fixed Bamboo variants being placeable from the base Bamboo item
- Fixed berries not showing up in EMI
- Fixed incorrect compass description
- Fixed lava and water showing up in EMI
- Fixed several missing items in Variant Selector
- Fixed some non desired items from Absent by Design not being disabled
- Hid all variant blocks from EMI and disabled all their recipes
- Improved Title Screen and Tutorial menu
- Removed ConnectedTexturesMod
- Updated emerald info in EMI to reflect the villager restock nerf
- Updated mods to the latest versions
Known Issues:
- Variant selector HUD is a few pixels lower than it should be
- Several slabs from Absent By Design don't have a vertical slab counterpart yet
- Bamboo Block can be made into Bamboo Fence with variant selector (needs a quark update to fix)
- "Chiseled" type blocks will still show their slab recipe in EMI
